Notes
Written to accompany the theatrical release of Buster Keaton’s silent short film, One Week (1920). Composers Peter B. Kay and Tristan Willcox carefully crafted a thoughtful score comprised of arrangements of classic, well-known chamber works, a few orchestral pieces, and a bit of original, incidental music.
Commissioned by the Spartanburg Philharmonic to be premiered Oct. 1, 2021.
Note: the piano part doubles on cimbalom. If a cimbalom is not available, Spitfire Audio has a high-quality VST that can be used in its place via keyboard. If a keyboard is not an option, then the cimbalom part may be played on the piano.
